CHG corporate communications team is looking for an enthusiastic intern who has a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail. Under the direction of a senior communication specialist, they will support our award-winning culture by contributing and learning through the production of corporate news, videos, podcasts, interviews, graphic designs, and other multimedia platforms. The ideal candidate has a desire to learn how journalistic tactics play a role in corporate culture.
CHG’s internship program is designed to enhance students’ learning and growth, while providing an opportunity to meet educational curriculum requirements. Students will work on projects that allow them to think critically, create measurable goals and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Create content such as blog posts, videos, infographics, web banners, and e-newsletters, while learning best practices for various content production platforms and tools
- Participate in team meetings to get a sense of how the team and company functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet the communication needs of our people and programs
Qualifications
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe
- Beginner to intermediate multi-media production skills a plus
- Must be enrolled as a junior or senior in a college or university or are/will be a recent 2023 graduate
- Able to provide a list of learning objectives and internship agreement for your collegiate program
