Every year, the National Geographic Society provides a number of students with a paid opportunity to spend the summer exploring and learning with us. We offer a diverse range of dynamic internships that are designed to offer a well-rounded experience. Our goal is to provide engaging, educational, and work-related opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students. The 2023 program will be remote. Students will be invited to our DC headquarters one week in June to attend one of our signature events.

Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, thinks creatively, and is a skillful writer.
The National Geographic Education team is looking for an intern to work on creating curricular content for educators and students. The intern will help conduct research and other tasks to support the creation of elementary, middle, and high school educational materials to be included in the Resource Library.
