CLOSED Leland Writing & Editing Internship (Fall 2025)

Leland logo

We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and driven student writer to join our content team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves writing and wants to grow in a fast-paced startup environment. You don’t need to be an SEO expert — we’ll teach you everything you need to know. What we care about is clean, compelling writing, strong work ethic, and the ability to take feedback and run with it.

If you’re excited to build real writing experience, contribute to meaningful educational content, and learn how to write for a digital audience, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Write and edit high-quality articles on topics across business school, consulting, tech, finance, pre-law, and more
  • Learn and apply SEO best practices (we’ll train you) to optimize content for reach and relevance
  • Incorporate expert quotes, data, and user insights to create valuable, user-centered content
  • Collaborate with our editorial team for feedback and coaching
  • Help shape the voice of an emerging education and career media brand
  • Improve and update existing content to better serve our users and rank in search

Who You Are

  • You’re a great writer — clear, engaging, and curious, with a strong grasp of structure, flow, and voice
  • You’re a current student with availability for 15-20 hours/week
  • You take feedback well and are eager to learn
  • You’re organized, reliable, and able to meet weekly deadlines
  • Bonus: You’re interested in business, education, or career paths, or have experience navigating them yourself

$15-20/hr
Remote or Hybrid (Lehi, UT)
