Editorial Internship
Reason & Watson is a young and ambitious copywriting company that is looking for talented interns to join our Editorial Department. We want kick-butt writers with mad grammar skills. As an intern, you will revise and edit content and send your remarks back to our writers. We work remotely from home in our jammies and Zoom call every week. Internship Details
● Possible College Credit
● Flexible schedule
● Fully remote
● Encouraged to edit in pajamas
● Monday-Friday
● 8-10 weeks
● 15-20 hrs/week

Internship Plan
● Attend weekly Zoom meetings with fellow interns and Reason & Watson directors to answer questions, review work, and complete training.
● Complete edits, including editing for SEO, checking assets, fact-checking, line-editing, proofreading, and some content editing.
● Provide relevant and detailed feedback to writers so they can make edits promptly.

Duties & Responsibilities
● Assist in reviewing written content
● Fact-checking
● Evaluating writing based on a client brief
● Provide critiques to writers through our Asavana Writer’s Platform
● Attend weekly Zoom meetings
● Learn and use SEO best practices

Qualifications
● Undergrad study in English, Communications, Marketing or another related field
● Strong writing skills in both technical and creative writing
● Strong editing skills
● Knowledge of basic grammar
● SEO knowledge is preferred but not required
