Apply by 1/29/25. The Provo City Council is looking for an intern to assist the Executive Director and the Council in a variety of assignments and administrative projects. The internship will begin May 2025. This position involves gathering data and analyzing it to improve the performance and policies of the Municipal Council with regards to Provo City and its citizens. The Deseret News is looking for talented seasonal student intern writers and copy editors for the Church News, which provides news, and information for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Deseret News and Church News internships are paid ($14/hour) and last approximately 3-6 months in duration starting in January 2025. Interns will work with their supervising editors to determine exact starting and ending dates, and weekly work schedules. If time off during the semester is needed, that must be coordinated well in advance with the supervising editor.
