Shadow Mountain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Team Intern to support daily operations, project execution, and creative initiatives. This position is designed for current students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic publishing sales environment while developing valuable professional skills.

As a Sales Team Intern, you'll work alongside experienced team members, contributing to meaningful projects and departmental objectives while building a foundation for your career.

Start date: Immediately
Internship duration: 3 months - approximate end date June 2026
Wage: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assists team members with daily operational tasks
  • Attends meetings, takes notes, and tracks action items as assigned
  • Supports project execution by completing assigned deliverables on schedule
  • Conducts research, compiles data, and prepares reports or summaries
  • Maintains documents and spreadsheets
  • Creates graphics, advertising materials, and emails
  • Writes copy for ads and promotions
  • Communicates progress and raises questions or concerns to the supervisor promptly
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Professional demeanor and reliability

Preferred

  • Strong graphic design skills preferred
  • Copy writing skills preferred
  • Advertising knowledge preferred

Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
