The Salt Lake County Mayor’s Office is looking for a web content intern willing to contribute to ensuring the Salt Lake County website is accessible, usable, and accurate. The successful candidate will support the Brand Manager and various county agencies in moving content to a new website design. The internship is specifically designed for candidates with a strong interest in web design, web content, and/or communications.
The intern will have the opportunity to work with various Salt Lake County agencies to plan, research, gather, write, edit, organize, and post web content (text, photos, video) to engage the public and maximize the online user experience. Training will be provided.
Internal Communications Intern
The successful candidate will support the Internal Communications Manager by sending emails and uploading communications to an intranet to keep Salt Lake County employees updated. They will also assist in planning, writing, and design as needed. This will be an opportunity for students who are interested in communications, digital communications, and design.
The internship is specifically designed for candidates with a strong interest in government and political affairs with skills in communications, post-production, and graphic design. We are in search of an intern to work on assigned multimedia projects to visually communicate and promote Salt Lake County’s messaging and projects to constituents. This is a creative opportunity that will focus on the creation, editing, and promotion of videos, graphics, photos, and written content.
