NASA Audio Storytelling Internship: NASA is looking (and listening) for a new type of audio storyteller to help us craft compelling audio content for a new, short-form NASA podcast. You will be working on stories from a diverse set of science and technology themes such as planetary, Earth science, heliophysics and astrophysics. You'll gain on-the-job experience as you research, script and produce audio stories about some of NASA's most exciting missions. You’ll pitch new episode ideas and follow them from conception to completion, keeping the audience in mind at every stage.
Knowledge Management: NASA's Office of the Chief Engineer is charged with managing knowledge learned from NASA projects. This includes the documentation of lessons, best practices, and other positive and negative experiences. It includes the use of the previous knowledge gained in ways that promote improved future project execution. The capture of knowlege from departing members of the workforce and the infusion of knowledge to incoming workers is also within scope.
Climate Change Research Initiative: NASA Education Resource Specialist: Climate Change Research Initiative: NASA Education Resource Specialist: The NASA Climate Change Research Initiative ERS project is a dynamic opportunity to assist CCRI teachers in developing curriculum that is integrating NASA education resources relevant to their research study in CCRI. The successful candidate should have a relevant interest in STEM and climate change education and a desire to assist in the creation of new and dynamic curriculum for use in formal and informal education institutions.
Science Communication Internship: The internship position is open to college juniors and seniors majoring in communications or with an interest in science communications. Prospective interns may find themselves working alongside STEM education specialists, project coordinators, and program managers in support of a variety of NASA sponsored activities: video production, spearheading social media campaigns, providing assistance to our award-winning media specialists, conducting research in support of program proposals, supporting formal or informal outreach events, and/or writing various copy for our media-enabled programs.
