For the fall, we have internships that may be in-person, remote, or hybrid, depending upon the specific internship position. Interns at Washington Performing Arts work on meaningful projects that our staff tailors to the intern’s educational background and interests. We are seeking highly motivated, creative, hard-working individuals to intern in Advancement, Education & Community Engagement, Cultural Diplomacy & Education, Communications & Creative Media, and more.
All intern candidates must have a high school diploma, and most interns are undergraduate & graduate students or recent graduates.
Our volunteer interns are eligible for a stipend of $500 upon completion of at least an average of 15 hours per week for at least 12 weeks during the fall and spring internship terms. Summer term interns must complete an average of 15 hours per week for at least 9 weeks.
These fall internships may be fully in-person, mostly in-person with scheduled remote work days, or fully remote. If Washington Performing Arts’ office status does not allow for in-person work at any point during the internship period, these internships will be fully remote.
