Fall Paralegal Internship, Sumsion Business Law

Sumsion Business Law is pleased to announce that it will be hosting paralegal interns this fall. Interns will have the unique opportunity of working alongside our attorneys and current paralegal staff, and will be assigned projects intended to provide them with valuable legal experience.

Many of our talented paralegals have attended Harvard, Stanford, and Chicago and received full-tuition scholarships to BYU. If you are searching for a quality legal internship to fulfill your 3-credit hour graduation requirement, this may be the internship for you.

Internships Information:

  • Part-time Fall internship
  • After the internship hours are fulfilled the intern can be hired as a full or part-time employee.
  • During the internship, the student will go through paralegal training and work side-by-side experienced attorneys and law-clerks.
  • Required training days: August 22-26, 9 am-5 pm

The BYU Office of the General Counsel provides legal counsel to BYU, BYU–Hawaii, BYU–Idaho and Ensign College. We are looking for candidates for the position of Legal Project Assistant who are committed to BYU and its mission, and who have excellent research, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a preference for those who have worked in a professional office setting. The Legal Project Assistant position assists the Senior Paralegal and attorneys with various projects and tasks. Employees are expected to act appropriately and professionally in all interactions, as well as maintain strict confidentiality.
