There are still some spots available in BYU’s fall 2022 Washington Seminar program. This is a great program that allows BYU students the opportunity to spend a semester working in Washington D.C. in government, private, or non-profit organizations. Participants have access to affordable BYU housing, career networking, and briefings from knowledgeable Washington insiders. Learn more about Washington Seminar at washington.byu.edu.
Students who secure an approved internship can still claim a spot in the fall program. Here are some of the internships still available for Fall 2022:
The Office of Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox offers a number of fellowships intended to help young professionals gain a wide variety of professional experiences and a unique perspective into state government, public service, and the duties of the governor and lieutenant governor.
Apply by April 1 for Fall 2025 internships. For over 15 years, BYU has partnered with the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh to provide several unpaid internships per semester. From their first day on the job, interns work closely with their assigned Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) and one or two other staffers. Parliamentary interns conduct focused research on pressing issues, conduct constituency service, interact with voters, and draft speeches, newspaper articles, and correspondence.
The BYU Museum of Art is now accepting applications for their internship program for summer, and their fellowship program for summer and fall. Please see the information below for the different programs. Apply for the internship program by March 15, and the fellowship program by March 17.
