This is a great program that allows BYU students the opportunity to spend a semester working in Washington D.C. in government, private, or non-profit organizations. Students who secure an approved internship can still claim a spot in the fall program. Here are some of the internships still available for Fall 2022:
W. W. Norton & Company’s 12-week internship program is designed to introduce motivated college students and recent graduates to publishing and to Norton. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience with the day-to-day business of bookmaking, as well as opportunities to network with employees at the company and with fellow interns who frequently go on to become colleagues in the field.
Each semester, the Springville Museum of Art works with students in areas including Collections Management, Education, Operations, and Grants and Fundraising. Internship applications are due JUNE 28, and internships start the first week of September 2024.
Help the Museum of Art (MOA) create and maintain excellent web content in this engaging role. Under the direction of the Marketing & Public Relations Manager, you will develop and execute strategies to make the MOA¿s website engaging to its users and adaptive to the ever-changing world of search engine optimization (SEO). You must be highly motivated, thorough, professional, and enthusiastic about the MOA¿s strategic marketing objectives. As part of the Museum¿s Marketing and Public Relations Team, you will also assist in promotional efforts and marketing events to aid in the development and execution of the MOA¿s outreach goals.
