Help the Museum of Art (MOA) create and maintain excellent web content in this engaging role. Under the direction of the Marketing & Public Relations Manager, you will develop and execute strategies to make the MOA¿s website engaging to its users and adaptive to the ever-changing world of search engine optimization (SEO). You must be highly motivated, thorough, professional, and enthusiastic about the MOA¿s strategic marketing objectives. As part of the Museum¿s Marketing and Public Relations Team, you will also assist in promotional efforts and marketing events to aid in the development and execution of the MOA¿s outreach goals.
Duties:
- Develop, edit, organize, and streamline content for the MOA website
- Research SEO keywords for use on the Museum of Art website and in marketing materials
- Edit and revise existing web content to optimize SEO
- Monitor website analytics against strategic goals
- Advocate for the needs of the website visitors in order to optimize user experience
- Integrate web content with email and social media campaigns
- Assist with the development of social media and advertising content, as well as other marketing and PR tasks as needed
- Must be available to work at least 10 hours/week during term time (schedule is largely flexible and determined by the employee); infrequent evening and weekend work may be required.
Required skills:
- Must be a BYU student, including a BYU student starting in Fall 2023 (undergraduate and graduate students in all fields of study welcome to apply)

Preferable skills:
- Experience with Brightspot (or similar content management system), Google Analytics, and Mailchimp
- Experience creating copy for emails and newsletters
- Experience developing email campaigns, web content, or social media content
- Advertising experience
- Experience working with museums and/or familiarity with the Museum of Art
- Marketing, Communications, Experience Design, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Art, Art Education, and Art History majors (or similar field of study) particularly encouraged to apply.
