This is a great program that allows BYU students the opportunity to spend a semester working in Washington D.C. in government, private, or non-profit organizations. The Springville Museum of Art has a proud tradition of facilitating internships, working with interns to help them gain hands-on industry experience in a community art museum. Within specific departments, interns can acquire valuable work experience, developing and refining marketable skills while exploring possible career paths and networking with museum professionals.
Every year, the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage involves over a hundred interns in our various activities. We offer internships year-round in various fields, including folklore, cultural anthropology, ethnomusicology, linguistics, museum studies, arts administration, graphic and web design, videography, marketing, social media, and library science.
