English Internships

Harper Collins offers both a summer internship program (in NYC or Nashville) and a winter (spring) internship program in a variety of locations (including remote work). These are paid internships. Applications for both programs are due Oct. 1, 2026.

The Deseret News is looking for talented seasonal student intern writers and copy editors for the Church News, which provides news, and information for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and self-driven Social Media Intern to help build and manage Byld's social media presence. As an e-commerce marketing company, our social media should reflect the quality of work, expertise, and results we provide to our clients. This role will take ownership of creating engaging content that presents Byld as a professional brand.

As part of the 2026 English Symposium, seven students shared their experiences completing the English+ requirement.

During the 2025 Utah Legislative Session, I was the intern for Representative Christofferson (D-53). I tracked his bills, organized meetings, and handled most of his correspondence. Throughout those seven weeks, I communicated with thousands of constituents across the state. These interactions taught me so much about writing professionally and acting with intention!

I worked primarily in the Trust's archive, responding to research enquiries, assisting with collections management, and doing independent research. Other tasks included assisting with public tours in Dove Cottage and working with outreach groups, such as universities on study abroad, during their visits to the Trust.
