Make a Wish Utah provides interns the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized nonprofit organization and build their personal portfolio while making a real difference in the lives of children with critical illness. Make a Wish is hiring several interns including a Marketing & Communications Intern, Development Intern and more.

The Deseret News is looking for talented seasonal student intern writers and copy editors for the Church News, which provides news, and information for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Y Magazine—BYU’s quarterly publication for alumni, students, and friends of the university—offers paid editorial internships for students who are creative, teachable, hard working, dependable, and committed to working as entry-level journalists. Interns at Y Magazine get published, work in a professional atmosphere, and get experience in writing, editing, research, web publishing, social media, and some of the backend, business aspects of putting out a magazine. It’s a varied and fun opportunity.

We will be hosting information sessions for interested students. Info sessions will be held September 11 at Noon and September 12 at 11:00 AM in the Kennedy Center conference room. BYU Connect invited you to their June Webinar, "How to Maximize Your Resume" with Amanda Peterson.

As part of the 2023 English Symposium, seven students shared their experiences completing the English+ requirement. We had students talk about international, local, and Washington Seminar internships as well as experiences in ENGL 394 and the Research and Writing Center.
