The Utah Attorney General's Office invites college students or recent graduates to apply for internship opportunities. These opportunities allow interns to be paired with the divisions of our office which hold the most interest for them.
Internships are unpaid. Both full-time and part-time internships are available. We do not offer remote, virtual, or telecommuting internships at this time.
The Spring internship lasts from January through April, as it corresponds with your university's semester. Attorney General's Office internships may count toward school credits. Contact your school's internship coordinator or your academic advisor for more information.
Example of Duties
Duties depend largely on the division in which the student is placed, but may include:
- Assisting attorneys or paralegals in case or policy research
- Attending meetings, hearings, or court cases as you job-shadow attorneys
- Reviewing and analyzing statutes
- Supporting the office in special projects
