In this role, our user research intern will learn about how user research works at a consumer tech company like Vivint, have the opportunity to be part of one of the largest corporate research teams in Utah, and make a meaningful contribution to the work of the team, in supporting Vivint’s product organization better understand customers and consumers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing Operations Support for the Research & Insights team at the Vivint Innovation Center
- Recruiting and scheduling participants for research
- Helping to take notes on research studies and tests
- Assisting with planning and executing research projects
- Carrying out special research projects which the intern will be assigned during their time at Vivint
Required Skills:
- Interest in the research field
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Professional manner
- Some past experience with research including surveys, interviewing, etc. would be helpful
Required Education/Experience:
- This role is an entry-level position so we don’t expect a great deal of past experience. Rather, we are looking for someone who is interested in a career in research who would like to join one of the largest dedicated corporate research teams in Utah and learn about conducting and organizing research
