This role will be responsible for developing content that inspires, educates, and engages target audiences for various clients. Key responsibilities include researching and creating high-quality content, proofing and editing content, possible journalistic style interviewing, and potential managing of third-party writers. Candidates should have a familiarity with a range of writing style guides (with emphasis on AP and Chicago Manual of Style) and have some education and/or experience in writing. Preferred candidates will have at least some experience in content marketing experience. The Community Outreach Internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the internal organization and operations of the Mayor’s Office. This job is designed to provide students with paid professional experience to further their education and training and is academically oriented for the student’s benefit. To qualify students must be enrolled in an accredited school program related to the type of work they are expected to perform. Positions will terminate upon completion of the internship period.
