Social Media Coordinator Internship with Dowdle Art (Lindon, PAID)

We are looking to fill an entry-level position to help maintain and grow our social media presence. Your role would be to engage with our audience, coordinate with influencers, and implement wider company strategies on various social media platforms. You will also be involved in minor modifications and additions to our website (no coding or web experience needed). We are looking for someone who is outgoing, loves people, and has a desire to learn and understand social media strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Engage, engage, engage! Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Skills

  • Understanding of basic Google programs (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Basic computer skills on either a Windows Machine or a Mac
  • The ability to create basic graphics or photo and video content is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Housing Program and Policy Research Internship

Salt Lake City’s Department of Community and Neighborhoods (CAN) is implementing two housing plans: Housing SLC, our five-year moderate-income housing plan; and Thriving in Place, our anti-displacement plan. CAN is seeking an intern that is interested in local government’s role in housing to further the commitments made in those two housing plans. This position will help research, develop, and implement strategies and actions to further the City’s commitments made in the two housing plans.
