WB Games Marketing & Social Media Internships: LA - Summer 2023

We have multiple Marketing and Social Media internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the LA/Burbank area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern managers in office schedule.

This could include, but is not limited to:

  • Global Brand Marketing (Gaming) – Assist in the execution of marketing strategy, worldwide creative materials, ideation, and administrative support throughout the summer.  Serve as a marketing and product enthusiast on gaming and culture, as well as identify trends and opportunities to enhance marketing plans and strategies
  • Social Media – The Social and Community Team at WB Games is the front linesof AAA game marketing and community. Assist in the Social Media day-to-day operations of our upcoming titles and share your love for the gaming world. Get a foot in the industry and learn valuable skills, including content creation, social media advertising, and account management.

Food Network Editorial Convergence Internship: NYC - Summer 2023

The Food Network Convergent team works at the unique, exciting intersection of digital and on-air programming. We focus on promoting awareness of and driving tune in to all linear programming premieres through original digital-first content that serves both super-fans and untapped audiences across Food Network’s digital and social platforms, which includes 32 million Facebook followers and 11 million Instagram followers.

No two days are alike on our team. We work closely with Food Network’s video, PR, and programming teams on a daily basis to make engaging, buzzy, and on-brand flat and video content on tight timelines and strict deadlines. We work hard to promote Food Network’s culinary brand, talent, and programming in new ways that inspire and engage.

The Daily

This food-obsessed intern will report to the Senior Editor, Convergence, and work across Food Network’s convergence team.

  • Will have a hands-on role on our team working on both flat and video projects.
  • Create photo galleries, blog posts, show pages, articles, and memes to support shows, and will also maintain the organization of incoming and outgoing video footage for the team.
  • Be an active participant in all meetings and pitch ideas as they have them.
  • At the end of the semester, our intern will have accumulated a collection of bylines on FoodNetwork.com and will have had a hand in publishing original videos across Food Network’s digital platforms.

The Essentials

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Literature, Journalism, Marketing preferred
  • Adobe Photoshop experience is required
  • Must be quick learning and a critical thinker with superior attention to detail, and be willing and able to manage time/priorities while juggling multiple projects at once.
  • Must respect the sensitive nature of our business and abide by internal confidentiality.

Publicity Internships: NYC - Summer 2023

We have multiple Publicity internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the New York City area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern managers in office schedule.

Internships in this area may focus on Publicity or Media Relations across film, television, and streaming platforms. This could include, but is not limited to:

The Essentials

  • Pursuit of a college degree in PR, Communications, English, Creative Writing or a related major.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong writing, research, and organization skills.
  • Passion for the entertainment industry
  • Interest in Publicity/PR and current knowledge of PR industry trends, practices, and tools.
  • Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States. U.S. International students must hold an F1 Visa to be considered.

Corporate Social Responsibility Internships: LA- Summer 2023

We have multiple corporate social responsibility internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the Los Angeles/Burbank area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern managers in office schedule.

This could include, but is not limited to:
• OneFifty/Film Festival
• Social Impact

The Daily
Duties could include:
• Conduct competitive research and analysis to provide strategic recommendations for team
• Help create and participate in delivering materials such as presentation decks and proposals
• Script coverage: Read and review scripts for any typos or grammatical errors. Recommend any revisions to the plot
• Review materials submissions which include: Pitch decks, size reels, short films, features, Docs
• Watch Short films, features, docs, etc. and submit your analysis and recommendation
• Develop authentic social impact campaigns and public facing activations
• Track the creation, production, distribution, and monthly reporting of all CSR public service announcements, community support spots, and social impact advertisements
• Develop communications for programs and initiatives to support internal and external communications, including social media, program newsletters, presentations, one-sheets, and other critical program communications
• Research the latest trends in current events and the social impact landscape to identify potential new nonprofit partners, educational experts, and community activists
