Varex Imaging is looking for a summer intern for our Legal department to help improve efficiency and implement programs as they will be able work on projects that are difficult for attorneys and other personnel to get to due to other more pressing business issues. The summer internship will be from May 2022 to August 2022.
Job Description
Intern will be exposed to a variety of areas within the in-house legal department including: employment law, litigation and discovery issues, commercial transactions, data and ethical privacy issues, international and multi-jurisdictional issues, as well as corporate governance. The intern will assist the legal department with researching corporate best practices and implementing efficiency projects. They will be expected to interact with clients in all departments and at all levels of the corporation. The intern may also be asked to research specific questions of law and policy and prepare legal memoranda. Interest and coursework in employment law, commercial transactions, or corporate governance preferred.
