The Teaching and Learning Division at the Utah State Board of Education is seeking a marketing/communications intern to assist staff in identifying and implementing effective strategies to disseminate information and resources. This internship job is designed to assist students in the completion of their degree by fulfilling working requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, bachelors and masters level students from an accredited institution of higher education. Flexible schedule to accommodate schedule, will be required to be in office 2 days remote for 3 days.

Principal Duties
- Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies and proposing adjustments to current strategies accordingly
- Coordinate and collaborate with USBE staff to design and develop solutions to increasing awareness of and accessibility of key USBE resources with desired educational stakeholders
- Advance USBE Teaching and Learning’s brand management
- Design and develop strategies to increase our marketing to external organizations and educators
- Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on department needs
