The Springville Museum of Art is now accepting applications for our Winter 2023 Internships. Winter 2023 internships will be offered with collection management, education, visitor studies, or operations focuses.

Springville Museum of Art interns gain first-hand experience at a local art museum in departments like collections, education, visitor studies, or operations.

There are still some spots available in BYU’s fall 2022 Washington Seminar program. This is a great program that allows BYU students the opportunity to spend a semester working in Washington D.C. in government, private, or non-profit organizations. This successful applicant will work with the full-time staff of the Historic Sites Division of the Church History Department to research and write interpretive guides and historical reports regarding the sacred places of the restoration. The Intern will also assist with other projects, as needed. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone interested in Church history and for those pursuing a career in the history field. We are looking for a motivated and hardworking self-started to join our team!

The Utah Division of Arts & Museums (UA&M) seeks a dynamic self-starter to assist the Communications Manager in implementing organizational communications and marketing strategies. The Communications Intern will work independently and with a team to fulfill organizational goals and initiatives in fulfilling the division’s mission of connecting the people and communities of Utah through arts and museums.

The National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) Internship Program provides educational opportunities for students interested in the museum profession and related fields. Interns complete projects using the resources of the NMAI and other Smithsonian offices. Internships are an opportunity for students to learn about the museum’s collections, exhibitions, programs, and methodologies, and to meet professionals in the museum field.
