The Springville Museum of Art has opened applications for our Winter 2026 internship cycle which will run January through April . Applications will be open now until 11:59pm on November 2, 2025. This semester, we will be taking interns in the areas of Education, Collections Management, and Grants and Fundraising.
The Springville Museum of Art has a proud tradition of facilitating internships, working with interns to help them gain hands-on industry experience in a community art museum. Within specific departments, interns can acquire valuable work experience, developing and refining marketable skills while exploring possible career paths and networking with museum professionals.
The Springville Museum of Art offers internships in the following areas:
Collections Management (up to 3 positions):
· Help maintain and update collection database
· Organize key records related to the Museum's Permanent Collection and donor history
· Assist with art handling and exhibition installation
· Maintain and update the Museum's Research Library on Utah artists
Education (1 position):
· Plan, implement, and assist with events and public programs
· Develop and write curriculum and accessibility materials
· Help implement the Museum’s education programs, including tours, outreach, and teacher trainings
Marketing and Fundraising (1 position):
 · Research prospective corporate sponsors for the Museum
· Help develop the Museum’s membership program
· Help with Museum marketing
We do not offer curatorial or operation internships at this time. For Spring/Summer 2025 internships, only Education and Collections Management will be offered.
