Job Description
As a Writing Intern at Infini-D Learning, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of professional and creative writing projects as assigned (depending on individual strengths, writing experience, and interests). These tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Researching assigned educational topics, compiling the research, and summarizing it
- Writing interesting and informative blog posts on topics related to our platform and the broader field of education/ed-tech
- Writing compelling case studies based on teacher interviews, user stories, and performance data
- Crafting miscellaneous website copy that communicates the unique benefits of our platform
- Writing engaging character scripts based on provided outlines and Infini-D character descriptions
- Developing creative mission storylines based on K-8 academic standards (science, math, STEM, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient, detail-oriented writer
- Receptive to feedback
- Ability to work independently
- Basic research and editing skills
Details
This is a part-time internship position requiring 5-15 hours of work per week. While the position is mostly remote, occasional meetings at our office in Provo may be required. Pay ranges from $11 to $15 per hour.
Skills Gained
This internship offers valuable exposure to and real-world experience in the fast-growing ed-tech industry. You will develop skills in writing, research, and editing in a professional context. You will also gain insights into game-based learning design and the operational aspects of a successful ed-tech company.
