As a Social Media Intern, you’ll help tell our stories through daily content, community interaction, and trend-driven campaigns. You’ll assist with content creation, scheduling, and reporting, working closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure a strong and consistent presence across our key platforms.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience in content strategy, social trends, influencer collaboration, and community building.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with planning, writing, and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Brainstorm ideas for new content that aligns with current trends and our brand voice
- Help capture and edit short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, UGC-style clips)
- Monitor and engage with the Lakanto community via DMs and comments
- Track post-performance and assist in compiling monthly social media reports
- Support influencer campaigns by organizing content, monitoring tags, and engaging with reposts
- Help research competitors and stay updated on platform trends, hashtags, and sound usage
- Participate in trend spotting and reporting
Join the Saraya USA marketing team and gain hands-on experience across a portfolio of purpose-driven brands — including Lakanto, Kyhv Nutrition, Happy Elephant, and Arau Baby. As our newest Marketing team member, you'll contribute to email and SMS campaigns that reach over 100,000 customers nationwide, while learning the foundations of digital marketing, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
This is a great opportunity for students or early professionals interested in copywriting, customer journey mapping, ecommerce, and wellness marketing. You’ll work directly with Brand Managers and collaborate with our creative, ecommerce, and sales teams using industry tools like Klaviyo, Postscript, Shopify, and Figma.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit marketing emails, SMS messages, and blog content
- Build and schedule email and SMS marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, Postscript, and other marketing tools
- Assist with maintaining email and SMS marketing campaign timelines and content calendars
- Learn how to build automated email flows and audience segments
- Track basic performance metrics (open rates, click rates, etc.) and support report building
- Contribute creative ideas for themes, promotions, and new customer journeys
- Collaborate with design and ecommerce teams to align visual and written content
