Kids on the Move Social Media Internship (Stipend)

KOTM is seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to support the strategic marketing campaigns to promote Kids On The Move. This position assists with KOTM video creation, graphic arts and social media; and seeks to raise awareness in the community of KOTM's services and events.

Kids On The Move, Inc. (KOTM) is a nonprofit organization located in Orem, UT. KOTM supports the development of young children and families by "empowering families, one child at a time." KOTM provides services through five main programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, Preschool/Child Care, Respite Care and KOTM's Autism Center.

  • Assist with managing, creating, and scheduling content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube)
  • Assist with filming, editing, and posting video content for social media channels
  • Assist with interacting with community through social media channels
  • Research and write feature stories
  • Gather statistics and performance reports for all social media channels
  • Assist with graphic design for campaigns as needed
  • Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube from a brand perspective
  • Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, or related field of study
  • Comfortable with video creation strategies and video editing software
  • Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Type a minimum of 60 words per minute

The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and passionate Social Media Intern who will elevate the social media presence and voice of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team through the organization's social media.
