Franklin Covey Marketing Intern - Education Practice

This internship is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing communications and wants to gain invaluable hands-on marketing experience with a leading global company. In addition to supporting the Marketing Manager with other tasks related to trade shows, market research, etc., they will play a key role in supporting LeaderU. https://www.leaderu.us/.

This is a minimum 6 month and preferred 9 month paid internship at $15/hr and requires approximately 20 hours per week.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead as a project manager.
  • Organize and support tradeshow, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities.
  • Follow up on sales leads.
  • Participate in developing social media strategy.
  • Create content around existing offerings and collateral.
  • Monitor social media channels (Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
  • Organize editorial calendar.
  • Compose email and communication content.
  • Execute other marketing projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing or has obtained a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a directly related field.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Stephen R. Covey Leadership Center participant
  • Knowledgeable about web marketing and effectively communicating and positioning a product or service.
  • Team player
  • Tech-savvy
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong initiative
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience/understanding of project management, social media, graphic design, HTML and website development.
