ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. 

  • Assist in organic keyword research, develop strategies to outrank competitors, and monitor results over time 
  • Analyze trends and innovation in social media ROI models, measurement and tools. 
  • Assist with technical software (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) 
  • Monitor and respond to comments and reviews on all social media platforms in professional manner consistent with brand and communication standards 
  • Write and distribute social media content, postings/tweets, emails, white papers, content pitches and more 
  • Analyze and recommend approach/reaction to trends, findings and learnings. 
  • Build actionable reports based on campaign results data 
  • Manage blog posts and content for our social media channels and blog as needed 
  • Review and address website errors, broken links, and 404s 
  • Assist with business development/lead generation and marketing strategy 
  • Conduct audits of website content 
  • Analyze and recommend approach/reaction to trends, findings and learnings. 
  • Maintain familiarity with social media monitoring trends, tools, and analysis technologies and techniques 
  • Develop and implement social media strategy for Mountain America Credit Union 
  • Attend marketing related team meetings and other company wide meetings when possible 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Willingness to learn new software applications 
  • Ability to understand data and draw actionable insights from it 
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work within tight time frames and meet strict deadlines 
  • Ability to multi-task and have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of writing in AP Style 
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Experience using it for a business is preferred  
  • Ability to put together social media content such as Reels, TikToks, and carousels  
  • Self-motivated and proactive a must 

Experience

One year of solid writing, editing, strategic communications, and marketing communications experience. Familiarity with content marketing, analytics, search engine optimization, search engine marketing and social media marketing. Experience with HTML/CSS and Photoshop is a plus.

Education

Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Online Marketing, Business, currently enrolled or equivalent.
