Join a fun, tightknit, and highly functional team tasked with creating social media content that highlights the exciting advancements of FamilySearch. Work closely with the social media manager and other team members to ensure the social media and YouTube channels are at optimal performance. Gain experience in copyrighting for social media content, strategy, and brand management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in a hybrid (in person/remote) work environment. 
  • Create and manage content calendars and other spreadsheets to monitor channel and post growth
  • Track metrics of posts and share regularly
  • Share creative content ideas across all social channels, including YouTube
  • Offer creative insight for design, composition and copy for content
  • Spearhead some projects/content ideas through production workflow

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A process driven person that can drive content through a workflow 
  • Detail oriented person that can review content prior to posting 
  • Has an eye for design to make sure content is aesthetically pleasing 
  • Great communicator and people person 
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management 
  • Ability to proactively overcome obstacles with minimal supervision 
  • Strong industry awareness of trends in social media performance 
  • Experience in social media management and online content creation 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s (or near completion) in Marketing, PR, Journalism or related work experience.

Part-time internship.

REPORTS TO:

FamilySearch Social Media Manager

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
