Our internship program takes emerging talent and offers experience leading to growth and mentorship. Over 15 Weeks you will work closely with professionals in your field while engaging in projects with direct impact to the company. You will help us develop and implement improved processes to further the growth of Walker Edison.
Walker Edison is looking for an intern with a passion for social media marketing. We’re looking for someone who is organized and positive with some experience working in social media marketing and digital marketing to join our social media team this fall. This position will allow for flexibility with remote/in-person work.

Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree in a relevant field of study.
- Ability to complete a 15-week program beginning August 30th 2021
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional demeanor and presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Tech Savvy, knowledge with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other platforms
- Ability to assess, organize and prioritize tasks; ability to take direction as well as work independently and as a member of a team
- All interns will present what they have learned and accomplished to members of the executive team as their Capstone presentation.
People & Culture Intern
The People & Culture team is team is focused on maximizing the employee experience through culture building, events, recruiting, and general employee support. We focus to help our employees feel appreciated and facilitate opportunities for growth. Typical projects for the People & Culture team include planning employee events, supporting employee resource groups, planning employee trainings, sending bi-monthly gifts to all employees, and providing service opportunities.
As a People & Culture intern, you will contribute to the team by working on several different projects. Some of those projects include such things as planning employee events such as our annual Rise Against Hunger service project as well as our holiday service projects, helping plan our employee holiday party, supporting our employee resource groups such as Women of walker Edison and WE Pride, researching and sending bi-monthly gifts to employees that support small businesses.
