BYU Nursing Volunteer Opportunity: Get Published!

College of Nursing Volunteer Ad Image

Next year, the College of Nursing is celebrating its 70th anniversary. As part of our celebration, we are producing a commemorative edition of our alumni magazine and will feature a story from each graduating class. The publication is scheduled for distribution in March 2022 and will be sent to 8000 homes.

The College of Nursing is looking for students to interview an alumnus by telephone and write a 500-700 word narrative on their experiences in healthcare and what she/he has done with a nursing degree. We would provide the name and contact details of alumni that have agreed to participate. Finished materials must be submitted by September 1, 2021.

This is a volunteer assignment and would be good for students looking to have published articles with a byline or printed stories for their portfolio (students may take on more than one person if desired).

Email Jeff at nursingpr@byu.edu to participate

*This is a volunteer opportunity and does not qualify for academic internship credit.
