The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is hiring interns to work in the Church Communication Department to help create content for newsroom.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and other social media channels.
Qualifications
- Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on the needs of the Church Communication Department. This position is in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building with opportunities for remote work. (Two part-time openings or one full-time position.)
- As part of a close-knit team, the interns will work closely with managers to create content for Newsroom.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and its related social media channels.
- Applicants should demonstrate outstanding writing, editing and communication skills. Preference will be given to those with journalism training across various media platforms (print, broadcast, digital).
- This paid internship is 20 hours a week for twelve months.
- Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
