
BYU Brand & Creative, which provides editorial and design services for the university, is offering a paid editorial internship for a student who is diligent, dependable, teachable, and committed to working as a professional, entry-level editor. Interns at Brand & Creative can expect to contribute by editing, proofreading, writing, and source checking for a variety of projects from across campus—weekly devotional addresses, college alumni magazines, fundraising materials and others. Our team is welcoming and highly collaborative, and we look forward to playing lots of Boggle and taste-testing the best food in Provo with you while we help you improve your editing skills and prepare for future employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit and proofread
- Gather and check sources
- Write captions and blurbs
- Help us top the leaderboard in our weekly Boggle challenge
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid copyediting and substantive editing skills
- Confidence in writing
- Familiarity with Chicago and Church style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- BYU student status for the duration of the internship
- Willingness to cultivate your inner foodie
