We are looking for individuals seeking a front-row seat overseeing the politics of technology in the nation's capital. Broadband Breakfast is a decade-old news organization based in Washington that is building a community of interest around broadband policy and internet technology, with a particular focus on better broadband Infrastructure, the politics of privacy and the regulation of social media. We took our name from the Broadband Breakfast Club that we launched in 2008, and are in the process of relaunching several broadband-related event series.

At least two years of undergraduate experience (graduate students and law students may also apply).
Live or have the ability to work in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Knowledge of technology and telecom policy issues a plus but not required.
Journalism or communications majors preferred but not required.
Interns will: Attend and report on events and newsworthy items in Washington
Produce stories for daily publication in Breakfast Media publications, including BroadbandBreakfast.com
Attend and support monthly Broadband Breakfast Club events
