English Internships

Early Learning Essentials is looking for interns and volunteers who are innovative, self-starters, outgoing, great with people, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of families and children.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Fall Creative Coordinator Intern to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across multiple channels. This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn about creative operations and project management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC), works in the United States welcomes newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities.  

As part of the 2025 English Symposium, seven students shared their experiences completing the English+ requirement. We had students talk about international, local, and Washington Seminar internships as well as experiences in ENGL 394 and the Research and Writing Center.
