The life help intern participates in the disability specialist division of The Priesthood and Family Department. Tasks will include writing, researching, interviewing, answering calls and supporting advisory group work for members with disabilities and their families. Y Magazine—BYU’s quarterly publication for alumni, students, and friends of the university—offers paid editorial internships for students who are creative, teachable, hard working, dependable, and committed to working as entry-level journalists. Interns at Y Magazine get published, work in a professional atmosphere, and get experience in writing, editing, research, web publishing, social media, and some of the backend, business aspects of putting out a magazine. It’s a varied and fun opportunity.
