The creative services department at BYU Broadcasting is looking for a student writer. The position will be 10-20 hours/week.The position requires someone who is interested in pursuing a career in entertainment marketing. (This is not a production position.) Communications majors are encouraged to apply. You will work with the Creative Manager and other student writers to produce a wide array of content including—but not limited to—blog posts, articles, taglines, and show/episode descriptions.

Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn multiple writing styles and formats
- Desire to become a better writer
- Ability to manage scheduled deadlines in addition to ad hoc assignments
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent grammar skills
- Research skills
- Knowledge of BYUtv shows beyond Studio C
- Familiarity with Chicago style
- Experience with SEO a huge plus
- Editing skills a plus
- Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a plus
