Rising Up Together empowers youth & families to connect, find purpose, & build resilience for life! We are offering student internships for college students and believe these students will have a powerful impact on youth throughout the world! An internship at Rising Up Together will give interns a first-rate experience to help them develop skills, acquire knowledge, and become successful leaders in their community.

We are looking for student interns to help in the following areas:

  • Psychology, social work, counseling, and/or related degrees.
  • Marketing, graphic designing, web designing, programming, photography, and/or related degrees.
  • Business, human resources, accounting, financial philanthropy, fundraising, recreation management, non-profit, and/or related degrees.
  • Business writing, grant writing, English, and/or related degrees.
  • Research, data analytics, surveying and/or related degrees.
  • Community Outreach

We offer all student interns the hours needed to grant them school credit and a very fulfilling internship that will empower youth & families to connect, find purpose, and build resilience for life!

The mission of this position is to help Church members fulfill their divinely appointed responsibility to discover their families through family history methods, submit their names to the temple for saving ordinances, and to help bring souls unto Christ. This position is one of many focal points for all written and audiovisual training materials for the geographical areas of the church. The Intern will be fully accountable with supervision to ensure product reliability in instructional content, style, clarity and usability. Products of this section are used worldwide by, employees, church service missionaries and volunteers, members and the general public with diverse skills and in varying cultural environments.

Social Media Intern/Volunteer

We are looking for a well-organized, self-motivated, reliable and committed person to help with our social media accounts. As a social media intern or volunteer, you will focus on supporting UVR’s advocacy strategy and campaigns by researching relevant content and creating new content to publish to UVR's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok accounts. You will work with a team responsible for image selection, caption and content writing, and some photography at UVR events. You will also be communicating to the public via answering DMs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a professional staff in an enthusiastic, community-based non-profit organization.
