This PR/Content Internship will serve a key role in assisting the EKR Director in specific tasks. For example, public relations tasks include crafting communications in press releases, pitches and relationship building. Content projects include writing for blog posts, emails, and one-sheeters.

The position reports directly to the team director while working closely with all team members in a hybrid office environment to strategize, organize, and execute to meet clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Creating content such as blog posts, newsletters, press releases, emails, and more
  • Managing social media through Sprout Social software manager
  • Developing media relations
  • Consistent editing/feedback of yours and teammates’ work

Qualifications

  • Public relations or writing-focused major preferred, but not required
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Specialization in AP Style preferred, but not required
  • Shows initiative, is proactive 
  • Organizational skills
  • Detailed-oriented

Life Help Internship (Disabilities)

The life help intern participates in the disability specialist division of The Priesthood and Family Department. Tasks will include writing, researching, interviewing, answering calls and supporting advisory group work for members with disabilities and their families.
