Project solar.png

Project Solar, the leading e-commerce solar brand in the US, is seeking a Social Media/Content Writing intern to assist our leadership in developing and executing Project Solar’s social media and website strategy.

Company Description:

By replacing commissioned and door-to-door sales (think: summer sales bros) with efficient online ads, Project Solar has created a disruptive marketing approach that allows us to offer the same equipment and warranties for the lowest prices. We’ve built an exciting “mom-approved” culture based on integrity, transparency, and problem-solving, and we love humanities majors for their ability to think critically, deal with complex information, and communicate clearly with style. Come see how the skills you’re learning in your major can be applied in the business world!

Social Media/Content Writing Intern:

Responsibilities will include researching, planning, creating, and posting content (including social media and blog posts) as well as managing social media communities and auditing social media accounts for impact. The position requires about 15-20 hours per week, and compensation will start at $15/hr.

Other Internships:

Front-End Operations Intern:

This position will provide an opportunity to work with our front-end teams in a dynamic start-up environment. Interns will become familiar with CRM (customer relationship management) softwares and hone their professional communication skills as they interact with customers and team members, in speech and writing, to gather information and coordinate residential solar proposals. Our teams are always changing, so interns will be an important part of building our processes. The position requires daily availability (at least a few hours every business day) and about 15-20 hours per week, and compensation will start at $15/hr.

Applicants can apply on the "Career Opportunities" page of our website (projectsolar.io/pages/career-opportunities). It will also be helpful to contact our recruiter at hr@projectsolar.io.
