The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Salt Lake Bees social media outlets; creating engaging content for fans. The position requires creativity and forward thinking. The Social Media Coordinator champions the company’s Mission and Vision and models the company Values.

Primary Duties:

The Social Media Coordinator will be expected to:

  • Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company.
  • Continually teach associates new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, and GUEST SERVICE
  • Create compelling video, photo, and audio content to tell the story of the Salt Lake Bees both on and off the field.
  • Provide game coverage on team’s social media accounts.
  • Grow social media following on established accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Assist with planning and executing digital media campaigns, including marketing initiatives and sponsorship integration.
  • Support the building of a diverse culture that enriches the lives of our employees, customers, partners and communities
  • Embrace a culture of inclusion where guests and team members feel welcomed, valued and heard.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to write engaging copy while staying within brand voice.
  • Solid knowledge of the game of baseball including statistics and terminology.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in pressure situations.
  • Punctual, detail-oriented and works well with others.
  • Ability to work odd hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual, with ability to proficiently read and write in Spanish, not required but is a plus.

Physical, Mental, and Communication Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Wage: $15/hour
