The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Salt Lake Bees social media outlets; creating engaging content for fans. The position requires creativity and forward thinking. The Social Media Coordinator champions the company’s Mission and Vision and models the company Values.
Primary Duties:
The Social Media Coordinator will be expected to:
- Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company.
- Continually teach associates new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, and GUEST SERVICE
- Create compelling video, photo, and audio content to tell the story of the Salt Lake Bees both on and off the field.
- Provide game coverage on team’s social media accounts.
- Grow social media following on established accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
- Assist with planning and executing digital media campaigns, including marketing initiatives and sponsorship integration.
- Support the building of a diverse culture that enriches the lives of our employees, customers, partners and communities

Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to write engaging copy while staying within brand voice.
- Solid knowledge of the game of baseball including statistics and terminology.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to multi-task and work in pressure situations.
- Punctual, detail-oriented and works well with others.
- Ability to work odd hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Bilingual, with ability to proficiently read and write in Spanish, not required but is a plus.
Physical, Mental, and Communication Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate in English
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Wage: $15/hour
