The Marketing Intern is responsible for a variety of activities in the marketing department to include social media, website and email creation and execution.

Reports To: VP of Marketing & Sales
Pay Rate: $13.00
Shift: Monday - Friday, between 9am and 5pm, 15-20 hours/wk. Weekends, holidays, and events as needed
Dates of Internship: Dec 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Company website updates
- Content creation for social media channels
- Plan and schedule content for social media
- Respond to comments on social media
- Update of Google, Facebook and other websites
- Email campaign creation and execution
- Exhibit accuracy in attention to detail.
- Complete work on property using Sundance equipment.
- Work independently in an organized and methodical fashion.
- Support the recycling program.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University with major or minor emphasis in Marketing, PR, Humanities, Communication, or other related field.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Prior hospitality and/or administrative experience a plus.
- Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Able to effectively present information.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient typing skills (minimum 50 w.p.m.). Must have experience in web programs such as Contribute, IContact and other interactive programs.
