INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The intern will write monthly (min.) blog posts for two websites (www.samedt.com & www.metafraze.com). The candidates should:
- Be interested in languages, translation, localization
- Write well in English
- Speak at least one language other than English (preferred)
- Have the ability to project manage and meet deadlines
- Have an interest in translation technology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should:
- Be working towards a degree in English, English writing or similar experience
- Be familiar with authoring tools (e.g., Word, WordPress, etc.)
- Have an understanding of and/or be willing to learn search engine optimization best practices
HOURS/LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
The intern should expect to meet the Experiential Learning requirements of:
- Min. 126 hours of on-internship work (approx. 15 hours/week) – no set work schedule.
- Min. 8 weeks in duration
- Remote (work from home)
