BYU Library Internships

April 08, 2024 09:21 AM
The BYU Library internship program is a great way to be mentored by current library professionals and get real work experience in BYU’s Library. This program allows BYU students to be hired on as student interns for 130 hours. The position is paid and the hours can be very flexible. These internships are only available to current full-time BYU students. Often, students can be matched with internship opportunities that relate to specific areas of interest, but it can depend on what departments have internships available. We recommend that all students interested in pursuing librarianship as a career and/or earning a Masters of Library Science degree participate to learn more about libraries and the specific roles academic librarians fulfill.
