Kids On The Move is seeking a Social Media Intern to work with our Development Team. The internship supports the strategic marketing campaigns to promote Kids On The Move; assists with KOTM networking, graphic arts and social media; and seeks to raise awareness in the community of KOTM's services and events.
Kids On The Move, Inc. (KOTM) is a nonprofit organization located in Orem, UT. KOTM supports the development of young children and families by "empowering families, one child at a time." KOTM provides services through five main programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, Preschool/Child Care, Respite Care and KOTM's Autism Center.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing, creating, and scheduling content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube)
- Assist with interacting with community through social media channels
- Assist with marketing in Utah, Salt Lake and Wasatch Counties
- Research and write feature stories
- Gather statistics and performance reports for all social media channels
- Assist with graphic design for campaigns as needed
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube from a brand perspective
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, or related field of study
- Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
- Type a minimum of 60 words per minute
This is a paid internship for 3 months, 20 hrs/wk Stipend is $2,500 - $3,000 DOE
