You will need to include a resume, cover letter, two references, and two separate 500-800 word writing samples on any topic. Students do not need to be journalism majors to thrive and build skills in this internship, it is open to all majors and offers a deep skill-building experience. The nonprofit Salt Lake Tribune is hiring a part-time legislative reporting intern for 2022. The internship will cover 20 hours a week and run from roughly Jan. 1 until June 1.
