We're looking for an intern who's both passionate and curious about trending news, and is willing to write about everything from Zac Efron to the latest health trends to Utah true crime (and everything in between). As an intern, you'll write short briefs, articles, roundups, evergreen/seasonal articles and link-off pieces about trending and cultural news. Monitoring social media, major news outlets, digital news websites and aggregation platforms is a requirement of the position. The goal is for your articles to get as many views as possible by identifying the right audience and story topic.

The Dry Bar Comedy intern will primarily be responsible for creating and entering comprehensive metadata, including text descriptions and images, for our diverse range of comedy specials into our cataloging system. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in image editing, and a flair for creative writing. Excellent English language skills are crucial for crafting engaging and accurate descriptions. The technical writing intern creates and maintains technical documentation, policies, procedures, white papers and manuals. Translates technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences. Compiles, organizes, and summarizes data from multiple sources; monitors/tracks processes to ensure their execution within defined parameters. Ensures activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

BYU Broadcasting's Content Development and Writing Team is a highly selective student-driven content development program led by a seasoned team of industry professionals. Selected applicants will work as part of a student writing team under the direct supervision and guidance of a professional television writer and content executives from BYUtv and BYUradio. The first room is set to start work at the beginning of winter semester. While a new writers' room will convene each semester, the opportunity for participation by qualified students is expected to be ongoing.

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is the largest provider of hands-on environmental conservation programs for youth and adults. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, the SCA Digital Media Fellow Intern will play a vital role within our organization by helping advance our message and mission, from developing social media content to managing social posts and official accounts.
