The {C} Magazine is looking for passionate, music-savvy college students to join our editorial team as Music Journalist / Writer Interns. This internship is ideal for students studying journalism, communications, music business, media, or related fields who want hands-on experience covering the music industry. Interns will have the opportunity to write about artists, genres, trends, and cultural movements shaping the sound of today and tomorrow.

As a Music Journalist Intern, you will:
- Research, pitch, and write music-focused stories for both print and digital platforms.
- Conduct interviews with artists, producers, DJs, and industry professionals.
- Cover live shows, album releases, music festivals, and industry events (virtual or in person).
- Write reviews, profiles, opinion pieces, and cultural analyses on emerging and established artists.
- Collaborate with editors and photographers to produce multimedia content.
- Stay informed about music trends across genres, from mainstream to underground scenes.
- Ensure writing aligns with The {C} Magazine’s tone — bold, creative, and culturally attuned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Journalism, Communications, Music, Media Studies, or related field).
- Must be eligible to receive academic credit for the internship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Access to reliable internet and writing tools (Google Docs, Word, etc.).
- Must be passionate about covering music from a lifestyle, creative, and cultural lens.
